What is Palm Reading?

Palm Reading
Palm Reading, or Chiromancy or Palmistry is an ancient study; almost as old as astrology. We are always looking at each other's body characteristics. We try to read a person's abilities in every nuance of build.
Humans have always looked at each other's hands as a part of this "sizing up" process. Even from afar, you notice a person's hands. You notice if that person has long fingers or short fingers; fat fingers or thin. You notice it all; but try as you might to guess, you don't know what it means.
Palm reading is actually more than the reading of the palm. According to the palmists, you can tell a lot from a person's hand, and that isn't limited to the parlor game knowledge of "oh I am so sorry that you have such a short lifeline."
People have always been fascinated by the human body, and have always attempted to divine the most information about a person by checking the minutest details of the human body. Some of the observations about human physical characteristics can help determine a person's probability of success in certain endeavors; come of the observations lead to self-fulfilling prophecies about a person's future career, or success.
