Health and Palmistry

Health and Palmistry
As you should have noticed by now, in most cases where a medical condition may affect the palm reading either favorably or adversely, the honest palm reader should be willing to ask the client whether they have any limiting medical condition. Do not be afraid to inquire, even before touching the person's hand, if they have any medical condition, which might make touching and manipulating their hand uncomfortable or painful to them. This is very important although it is sometimes overlooked by the novice palm reader.
As a palm reader, you are engaged in not only a service industry, but you are in an occupation which requires the full cooperation and comfort of the client, not merely for the current interaction, but also for the possibility of any future interaction. Additionally, the various aberrations of shape and ability to move the hand can be related to the health condition of the client rather than anything related to palmistry.
Some people are, amazingly, unaware of the existence of medical conditions that they may have, and you would be doing them a great service were you to draw attention to those conditions.
Some of the things you might want to notice
Discoloration of the palm or back of the hand, in relation to the rest of the body's coloration, may indicate a medical condition that the client might need to know. Do not be insistent about this, but ask gently something such as, "has this hand always been so much darker/lighter than the other hand?" Redness, swelling or other inflammation in one or both hands is something that you might need to call attention to as well. When you take a person's hand to begin a reading, always take and hold momentarily both hands. If there is a noticeable difference in the temperature between the two hands, this might be indicative of a serious medical condition. Never diagnose!!! As a palm reader, you are not a medical professional. You can be a life saver, though, if you are willing to ask some friendly questions of your client and probe a little about the client's medical condition. This will help you avoid some poor readings, by changing your view of the hand in light of the medical condition affecting the hand's appearance.
